The Idiomatic Phrase You Thought You'd Thought Of But We Got There First

The hatred that aliens have for humankind is a well known phenomenon, illustrated by many "based on a true story" films such as Alien and Independence Day. The level of alien misanthropy that Superman shows (yes, he from the planet Krypton) has, however, been glossed over by the movies.

In the original comic books, Superman's disgust at human kind is rather less than thinly veiled. The front cover of the rare comic No. 13, shows Superman gripping a human in his mighty fist exclaiming "You are filth, human! I will kill you and eat your wife's foetus once I have impregnated her!"

I believe comic No. 13 also featured the first love scene between Superman and Lois. It ended with Lois being torn in twain by Superman's super-sperm.

This is patently untrue! I have been collecting Superman comics for 30 years and as an afficianado I can attest to the falsity of this item. Utter trash!
