The Idiomatic Phrase You Thought You'd Thought Of But We Got There First

In all my searching for an effective way of stopping up holes in my bucket I was surprised to find that a ginger nut placed over the hole would soak and expand to block all spillages. My bung biscuit has saved me a lot more trips to the well in recent years - God bless it!
